As the Executive Director of Mesilla Valley Community of Hope, Nicole Martinez over saw the creation of Camp Hope, a 50-person outdoor tent city in New Mexico in 2011. Camp Hope continues to be a model in how to implement a safe and compassionate site for people experiencing homelessness.
