Helping communities address homelessness with innovative and evidence-based practices
In the last year, we have seen a phenomenal rise in the amount of homeless service agencies requesting assistance with starting and operating a camp. We believe in sharing ideas, designs and policies to help others create their own safe spaces for people experiencing homelessness.
I have worked in the nonprofit industry for 16 years, focusing on serving people experiencing homelessness. As the Executive Director, I implemented Camp Hope, an outdoor, city-sanctioned tent city; acquired an NSP home to serve chronically homeless women, created the Mano y Mano Day Labor Program, and oversee HUD CoC, ESG, VA and many other housing and supportive service grant programs.
